Fishing
The river Soca is a real mecca for the fly fishermen who travel here from all over the world. Home to the fabled marble trout along with brown trout, rainbow, brook trout and grayling all to an excellent size. Marble trout are often taken well in excess of 10kg.
The clear emerald waters offer the rare opportunity to stalk individual fish with water conditions being so clear it’s possible to actually watch fish and anticipate them taking your fly or nymph.
The rivers covered by the local angling associations offer opportunities in a number of valleys and because the weather is often very localized it is almost always possible to find somewhere that is in condition.
As well as self-catering breaks it is also possible to book organized, guided fishing trips at certain times of the year.

It's looking like Bovec/Kanin will not be opening until Thursday 23rd. Good base and it should be a great opening week
