Climbing
There are a number of climbing opportunities throughout the Soca Valley;
From the 1000m vertical limestone walls above Log Pod Mangratom to the numerous short sport routes on the crag located just 5 minutes walk behind the house. There are plenty of crags, both protected and unprotected at all grades and for all abilities throughout the valley.
There are a couple of guidebooks at the house listing all of the sport crags in the area. There are also a couple of guides in Italian and Slovenian listing the traditional routes in the area.
It’s possible to take lessons or be guided by a number of the sports agencies in Bovec. There are two UIAA guides that live in the valley should guests want to tackle any of the larger trad routes under expert supervision.

It's looking like Bovec/Kanin will not be opening until Thursday 23rd. Good base and it should be a great opening week
