More about Mt Kanin
Situated well above 2000m Mt Kanin is Slovenia’s only high altitude resort.
The small resort of Mt Kanin has only six marked pistes providing an easy warm up area to get back in the swing of things, an ideal start to a holiday. But being located on the border it offers countless opportunities for off piste adventures on both the Slovenian and Italian sides of the mountain.
Early in the New Year the resort builds a small snow park with a couple of medium kickers, a box and a couple of rails but the natural Karst Limestone geology of the area provides plenty of drops and kickers from small boulders to large cliffs throughout the season, enough to suit all levels of bravado and skill.
