Northern Slovenia is bordered by Italy and Austria. Bovec is located in the North West of Slovenia only 10 km from the Italian border.
A number of budget airlines now fly to airports within a couple of hours of the chalet; Ljubljana (Capital of Slovenia), Trieste and Venice (both Marco Polo and Treviso) are all between one and two hours drive away.

It's looking like Bovec/Kanin will not be opening until Thursday 23rd. Good base and it should be a great opening week
